The howling wind blazes through the night

As the night kisses away the dawn

A naked sun shines along the highway

Of a life that's been living so lonely

He refuses to die

and believes he will win someday

The battles of a life that he's been living through

Then he believes that he;ll be king someday

but soon realizes he's been dreaming

And as the sun grows old he does feels this pain again

Of the times he bore with a smile on his face

The pain turns numb through the stillness of the night

As the scars in his memories turns grey.....

He knows he's counting his days but knows

nothing of time

the eerie wind shattered my pride

And then he sees his shadow creeping

behind the lights while the wishful lights fade away
